Write confidently and achieve full marks.

Many students find writing challenging, not because they lack ability, but because they’re unsure of how to approach the task. Situational Writing, in particular, can be a demanding component for some as it requires students to understand the context, apply the correct format, and extract relevant information quickly. Without clear guidance, it’s easy for them to feel lost or overwhelmed.

This is where Our Learning Lodge steps in.

1) Examination Format

In this course, students will master a variety of writing formats, from formal letters to informal emails, while learning the specific tone and style required for each. Through expert guidance, they will sharpen their ability to use diverse sentence structures, rich vocabulary, and the right tone to effectively meet task requirements. With our step-by-step coaching, students will gain the confidence to apply the  techniques needed to score top marks in their writing.

2) Time Management

Situational writing can make a big impact on your child’s overall grade—if they know how to approach it strategically. Being a 20-minute component of the writing paper, this course teaches students essential tips and techniques for effective question analysis and accurate information sourcing, even under time pressure.

With structured guidance and hands-on practice, your child will be able to tackle situational writing with clarity and precision. By the end of the course, they won’t just understand what to do—they’ll know exactly how to do it, and do it well.

3) Grammar and Spelling Mistakes

Small mistakes can make a big difference. In this course, students will revisit essential grammar rules and tackle the most common spelling pitfalls that often cost valuable marks. Through focused practice and clear explanations, they’ll learn how to avoid these errors for good. By strengthening their language foundation, your child will be able to express ideas more clearly and accurately—ensuring their writing is polished, precise, and exam-ready.
