It’s that time of year once more! Even before receiving their PSLE results, students will be able to choose a secondary school and reserve a space through the Direct School Application (DSA-Sec). Schools will be looking out for skills in sports, the arts, or even uniformed groups.
Based on last year’s key dates, parents who are interested should start looking for a school now and keep looking until early May. Early May to June will be the period for submitting your child’s application.
The methods used by various schools to choose pupils vary. Your child might be required to participate in trials, interviews, and auditions. Your child can anticipate receiving their DSA-Sec offers by the middle of September.
Finally, your child must choose three of their favourite secondary schools by the end of early November in order to receive the results in late November.
